Woody joined RDS after retiring from more than 30 years of service in VA's Office of General Counsel (OGC). During his VA career, Woody provided legal advice and services to agency officials at the highest levels and in most segments of VA operations, including nine years of service on OGC's Specialty Team Advising Research.
He has successfully negotiated hundreds of research and innovation agreements with pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and government agencies, facilitating public-private collaborations, technology development, and health care advancements for veterans.
Woody has an impressive record representing VA in employment law and intellectual property rights litigation and recently obtained decisions granting VA rights.
